Between 2004 and 2016 I lived in a number of places. I recorded the sounds on this album in many houses, many apartments and cities. And it really does all end up in a blur of mood. I don't know how many different instruments I used to make these tracks. I know there were some rare ones, like the Baldwin Fun Machine, or the Moog Liberation keytar. There's only one or two instruments I've owned in my life that I've had an emotional attachment to. More than anything, I think I've always wanted to capture an emotion in my music. With or without words, my music has never been up for personal interpretation. I am trying to take you to a specific place that is hanging there in my imagination. I don't know how many listeners out there can understand this, but there are places in my mind that this music comes from that are as real as your hands in front of you, the room you are in right now. They are peaceful places, even when they are leveled in turmoil.
